This is my full Pyxis rig, not listing out all the little bits and bobs that piece it together. I call it my convertible because of how quickly and easily it can change to different ergonomics. What I love about this is everything is connected to the cage itself, which allows me to very quickly use it on sticks, on the shoulder, or a lighter handheld mount. Basically just a matter of where I take it off the tripod.

Moving from the Blackmagic Pocket cameras after more than a decade to the Pyxis is so refreshing. I'm no longer fighting the form factor of the equipment and can lock in and focus on the art. Much more in line with the BetaSP, DigiBeta and CineAlta camcorders I came up on.
